Jenny Riffle
was born in Washington State in 1979. She studied at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY and received her BA in photography in 2001. For her thesis exhibition she created thirty environmental portraits of her family, friends and fellow classmates, which laid the foundation to her current project. Riffle is now working at Photographic Center Northwest, a non-profit photography center and school in Seattle, WA, shooting for her own personal projects and also working commercially as half of Landreth + Riffle.
